Internships

Minimum Internship Length: 320 hours per agreement.

Requirements
Students must:
• Have fully passed the first six semesters of their undergraduate program.
• Be regular students of the School of Chemistry.
• Have 4 hours per day available for their internships.
• Not be registered in learning service programs.
• Adapt to the available internship hours according to their class schedules.

Areas
Internships are valid in companies that:
• Have juridical personality (public limited or limited liability companies)
• Perform practices related to their undergraduate program.
• Offer financial aids or monthly grants equal or higher than the minimum wage in the area.
• Accept the Internship Agreement and cover students during their stay with accident insurance.
• Provide constant supervision and advice to students by company workers.

Internships are valid in governmental institutions that:
• Accept the Internship Agreement.
• Perform practices related to their undergraduate program.
• Provide constant supervision and advice to students by company workers.

Disclaimer
Internship agreements can last from 2 to 6 months with a total of 320 hours. It must be processed and signed by all parties prior to the internship beginning.
Students must carry out their internship until the agreed date of completion; otherwise they will not pass their internship subject and may be penalized.
The maximum internship length in a company or institution is one year.
