Cultural Diffusion and student activities

The School of Chemistry provides all students with different cultural activities with the aim of supporting education and the development of artistic skills.

Real Tuna (school band)

Objectives: To establish a brotherhood between students who enjoy music, trips, and new experiences, as well as, to spread this Spanish tradition inherited in the XIII century.

Requirements: To belong to the School of Chemistry, be male and responsibly represent the school.

Rehearsals: Cubicle located on the third floor of the Laboratory Center. Tuesday and Thursday at 17:00 and Saturday at 14:00.

Aurum Mariachi

Objectives: The professional and attitudinal growth of the members. To promote values such as responsibility, brotherhood, humbleness, and solidarity. Additionally, to practice leadership and join forces for the group integration.

Vision: To be known as a group of strong solidarity and companionship inside and outside the UANL.

Requirements: To be a student of the School of Chemistry and responsibly represent it.

Rehearsals: Classroom #1, located on the first floor of the Aulas I Building. Saturday from 13:00 to 16:00.

Fusión y Sabor (salsa dance group)

Objective: To promote good health, physical education, and dancing as a sport and artistic discipline. Additionally, to invite students to complement their academic education by developing their artistic abilities through the dance of Latin rhythms.

Requirements: To be a student of the School of Chemistry.

Rehearsals: Frontal part of the Specialized Laboratory Center (CEALES)

Basic level: Monday and Wednesday from 17:00 to 18:00 and Saturday from 13:00 to 14:00.

Middle level (Choreography): Saturday from 14:00 to 15:00.

Teachers: Reynaldo Antiga Martínez and Manrubia Rodríguez Arroyo.

Punto Crítico (theater group)

Objective: To practice creativity and imagination, as well as to develop in areas of expression.

Requirements: To be a student of the School of Chemistry and responsibly represent it.

Rehearsals: Classroom #12. Located on the third floor of Aulas I Building. Saturday from 12:00 to 16:00.
