Description:

The Laboratory of Analytical Instruments is committed to research by offering two units, one are of instruments and one area for synthesis procedures. Practical academic work is conducted here by students of the Chemical Pharmaceutical Biology, Chemical Engineering, and Industrial Chemistry undergraduate programs; professional assistance is also provided to graduate students.

Equipment and Instruments:

  1. Infrared spectrophotometer
  2. UV-Vis spectrophotometer
  3. Atomic absorption spectrophotometer
  4. Gas chromatograph with flame ionization detector (FID)
  5. Dissolved oxygen meter
  6. Conductivity and pH meters
  7. Ion specific electrode meters

Services:

Laboratory practices for Chemical Pharmaceutical Biology, Chemical Engineering, and Industrial Chemistry undergraduate students; sample analyses (infrared, atomic absorption, gas chromatograph, uv-vis) for dissertation development of graduate students.

Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 18:00
